I’m Christine Kim, and I just wanted to have a place where I could share thoughts, photos, dreams, places, and things I’ve been up to. I believe in gatekeeping, so this is a pretty deal.
In 2018, I guess I started this blog to write about Christianity and Jesus since writing devotionals in church was pretty valued (it’s really embarrassing but I can’t delete it bc it used to be me!) But, I’ve stopped writing because it’s definitely not something I would say I’m great at. Recently, I’ve been having a lot of thoughts/photos/ideas I’d like to share, so I guess I’m starting again! Cheers to full circles and doing things that maybe you’re not good at?
I studied sociology in my undergrad which was formative in many ways. It’s been almost a foundation of how I think about the world and individuals too. I think it’s important to be aware of our own social locations and how that might impact the way that we think and act in the world. Many of my thoughts stem from thinking about human beings and patterns that I see in my daily life.
I’ve been working at a coffee shop in Orange County which is fun and interesting. I want to move though, and I would love to pursue a career in coffee (currently). Also, if you don’t know what the word sonder is yet, maybe you should look that up. I’m feeling like the ‘about’ page is useless, since this whole website is about me. Also, I’m like ‘what makes me, me?’ Anyways,
